When someone says food, I'm there. So it's no surprise when Sm Aura Premier hosted a campaign to boost and appreciate coffee, I hopped on. We may think the prestige mall only holds high-end and luxury brands but there's more to this place, and that is the restaurants and cafes you'll find here. The two day campaign hosted mini workshops and coffee classes to expand our knowledge of art and coffee. Here are the four picks of coffee shops who participated and you need to visit NOW!
PROVIDORE |
They actually just launched a Cortado line (a Spanish-origin general term for a beverage consisting of either coffee or espresso mixed with a roughly equal amount of warm milk to reduce the acidity) with four flavors: regular, chocolate, white chocolate and salted caramel. I got to taste everything and I recommend the salted caramel and the white chocolate.
Providore offers a lot more than their coffee, they have european bread and pastries they freshly bake. So if you happen to drop by be sure to try those!
PAPER MOON CAFE |
For a limited time you can try out their perfect pairings of a mille crepe and coffee for only P260 (if you only buy the crepe it costs 250 so better grab this!)
What I was excited to taste and was impressed was their new flavor, Blueberry Cheesecake Crepe. It was just like what I thought the taste would be and it's packed so make sure to make room for dessert. I was also surprised with the Ube Crepe since they caught the Ube pinoy taste. I would recommend you try the blueberry, ube, strawberry shortcake and checkered cake.
NHA EM |
They also served us some of their best sellers like the Fresh Spring rolls (authentic Vietnamese spring roll with shrimp, basil and rice noodles, with a side of peanut sauce), Fried Spring Rolls (peppered pork, crispy wrapper with a side of fish sauce, love this!), lastly is their Crispy Crepe which is the bomb! You get to pick your veggies, roll it and dip in fish sauce.
LAVA |
There are several selection for their coffees and they also offer a special blend where two types of coffees are mixed together to cater for your taste. Here are the coffee they have: Arabica, Robusta, Excelsa and Liberica.
The range of cheese tarts also expanded and you can get to choose if you'd want to put on toppings. Here's the new range: original cheese tart, lava tops, prosciutto and melon gelee, gorgonzola and honey. They also released Eruptions (soft premium cheese ice cream) and you can also pick 3 toppings if you will opt to a cup instead of a cone. I suggest you try them all!
I also made a video from the tour you can watch it here!
