Gypsy Feels

4.29.2015
Yesterday as we we're looking for places to eat we stumbled upon this cool artsy cafe in Quezon City, Gourmet Gypsy. The Name of the Cafe intrigued us all the more.

The facade is really simple but inside interior looks a bit Morrocan or Vietnamese. The place is a mix of countires but what I like the most are the aztec prints on the rugs and chairs. I haven't taken a lot of picture but here's one.

The food I ordered was an Indian Chicken with roasted almonds, you have a choice of steamed rice or pita bread. Then we ordered a passion fruit cooler. The food was great, it was a bit spicy, the chicken fillets are good and serving was also great. It was a bit pricey though. Before finishing our food the staff brought us 2 complimentary desserts which were the panna cotta. I'm not sure tho what the name was again but it was really good. The top part was a bit acidic which gives a little kick to the vanilla panna cotta. The taste kinda grows on you. Thankfully we haven't ordered desserts yet. They also gave us a card for other complimentary food whenever we eat there again.

Overall it was a good place and I think it's better to stay there at night because the ambiance is intimate and the lighting outside are nice.
