Boracay | A Paradise to See

7.26.2016
Summer may be over but not in this post! Guess where this is? Yes, you're correct it's Boracay Island and I'm stoked to be posting this. Last May was my very first time visiting this paradise and it was an exciting trip. We planned this since last year because of the Piso fare of Air Asia, thank you guys! Also special thanks to Agoda for an easy booking. We stayed for 4 days but then extended for another 3 to maximize every activity and explore the island.

Aright for a QUICK GUIDE if it's also you're FIRST TIME traveling to Boracay and you landed at Kalibo Airpot it's best to go with Southwest for a hassle free travel from airport to your hotel. We payed 600 pesos per person at the booth which includes a bus transfer to Caticlan Jetty Port, Environmental fees, boat fare from Caticlan to Boracay Island and service from Caticlan Jetty Port to your hotel. You can opt to have a return ticket to Kalibo airport upon buying.

If you want a peaceful and quiet place to relax you should definitely stay at B Pod Hotel though it's located at station 3, it's far from the noise of the crowd and night life. They have great rooms, they can also accommodate up to 6 people (bunk pod). Check their website here > B Pod Hotel

At the time we arrived to Boracay it's already 4 pm and there are a few activities to do so we decided to do everything the next day. The hotel concierge offered us a private tour and we got discounts for everything YAY! If you want discounts here's his number, Kuya Arnold: (0999) 551-0598, you can find him at station 3 super bait.

Lunch. The buttered shrimp was the bomb!!!

Our first activity was island hopping where the package includes snorkling (with gears and food for the fish), the private boat, Puka Beach, Magic Island (we didn't get there because the waves are not safe for the day).

It was a very tiring day of all the activities but definitely worth it.

For dinner we tried the Dampa, where you buy the seafood and have a restaurant cook it for you. Of course we had crabs and shrimp :) And that's it for day 2.

For day three we did a lot! We tried helmet diving and parasailing which Kevin didn't enjoy, haha, because of his motion sickness -_-. The latter part made up for it tho, we rode a buggy cart and zip lined at the other side of the island where you'll see it's whole form.

For our fourth day we changed hotels to extend our stay and have a feel of the crowd as well. The Tides Hotel Boracay is located inside D'Mall where it's closer to everyone and everywhere. The rooms are great, clean and staff are all polite and helpful.

We were very glad to find this gem! Sharetea. I found this place from our HK trip and di namin pwede palagpasin.

The famous Jonah's Fruit Shake

It was definitely a place to remember, I enjoyed every minute soaked in the sun and swimming in the crystal waters of Boracay Island. Thanks to swimees_closetph and ilovekoi for my swim suits :)

Here's a Compilation of what we did in our vacation. Enjoy!
