FOOD PARK ALERT | 150 Maginhawa Food Park

I cannot deny that our generation today, the Millenials, are taking over whatever is new and fresh in the scene, especially food. People are hungry for something new to try out, and with lots of restaurants and food parks flourishing in the Metro 150 Maginhawa Food Park is one you should not miss out. One thing I love about food parks is that there are a lot of options to choose from under one roof! You can have varieties of food in one table, who doesn't love that?! Now who is 150 Maginhawa Food Park?

This is the first venture of Fruitas Group of Companies with food parks and since the place is located at 150 Maginhawa, hence the name 150 Maginhawa Food Park. If you're asking what's different about them and how can you persuade me to visit this place? Well it may not be your typical loud-party-type of place instead the food park aims to introduce an outdoor dining-bonding-relaxation mix. This is the PERFECT place for families, barkadas and officemates who wants a more relaxed dining experience where you can actually hear everyone talk.

You can actually notice this place if you drive by since the food park is an open area welcoming guests with a facade of warm-colored Japanese lanterns and surrounding Sampaloc tree.

So what establishments make this place unique? Let's have a look!

1. CELLAR 150
The only food park who has a wine cellar, of course you can order other drinks as well like beer. So instead of the normal booze and drinks you can indulge yourself and your friends with some quality wine and cheese you can pair with. They also offer brick oven pizzas.

SLO-COOKED ALL BEEF PIZZA (8 SLICES - P295)

So far this is the most sosyal establishment at 150 Maginhawa Food Park. The pizza tastes great even with just simple ingredients. The cheese just melts in your mouth!


2. AHLEE'S
If you're into steak and grilled dishes you should try Ahlee's.

BAKED MUSSELS (P180)

I love me some cheese and mussels! The mussels taste fresh since they have a tad of sweetness to the meat, however the dish lacks a bit of oomph to it.

T-BONE STEAK (P250)

It has that juicy taste and the meat is tender!

LIEMPO (P150)

JUUUUUICY! Baby potatoes were added to the dish and they're slightly covered with sour cream powder.


3. THE PIGGERY
Just like their tag line, All Pork Comfort Food!

SIZZLING SISIG (P220)

They grill their sisig here so it doesn't have that much crispiness to it but don't hesitate because their sisig is THE BOMB!!! I cannot take my fork out of this dish! It's a must try people!

THREE LITTLE PIGS (P350)

All pork! This dish is good for 3-4 people. They have pork nuggets, bacon chips and chairman chops. The best is the BACON! because it's bacon!

CRISPY PATA (P399)

Good for 3-4 people, their dips is the bomb

All I can say it the meat is tasty and tender! I loved the soup.

If you're a fan of fresh spring rolls, you're gonna love this.

My favorite among the 3 dishes!


5. DZ DINER
They serve fries, panini, pasta and more!

BEEF SALPICAO (P180)

At first I thought the meat would be chewy since the beef is chunky, but NO! I underestimated how delicious this dish is. Just WOW.

SEAFOOD PESTO (P150)

A mixture of seafood that's delicious!

CARBONARA (SINGLE P150, 3-5 PEOPLE P370)

This is a BIG serving, the dish is good, I think it just lacks the creamy tasty sauce.


6. CANADIAN SNACK SHACK
Most food parks only serve japanese and korean dishes, but here they have a Canadian Shack!

Their fries consists of maple syrup!

I think this has maple in it. 

NANAIMO BARS (P50 PER PIECE)

I love sweets but this is a too sweet for my liking.


7. BALAY BAGNET
Bagnet! A new take on the traditional and well-loved Ilocos Bagnet.

BUFFALO GLAZED BAGNET (P180 W/ RICE) KARE KARE (P200 W/ RICE)

Their buffalo glazed bagnet is the bomb! It has that spicy kick that's perfect for the jello shots (strawberry ang mango) they also serve.

I love love love their suka! Let me tell you everything on their menu is PANALO!


8. YEAH BURGERS X SANDWICHES
They are quite new in 150 Maginhawa Food Park, and they serve burgers and sandwiches perfect for merienda!

BACON CHEESE BITES (P130)

They say it's good for 2 persons, I say I can eat this whole bucket! Literally the cheese melts in your mouth and they served it with a generous amount. So mouthwatering!

I think I liked this more than the ultimate yeah burger since it has mushrooms in it :)

All nachos, burritos, tacos and quesadillas!

10. WINGS GONE WILD
If you love chicken wings, this is your stop!

This is their Hungarian Sausage topped with twister fries. The sausage tastes good! Not greasy.

MILD CLASSIC BUFFALO (P170 5 PCS)

This is my bet since it has slightly tangy and spicy!

SALT AND PEPPER BUFFALO (P170 5 pcs)

If you love a simple chicken with a hint of pepper, then this is your bet.


11. SHOU
150 Maginhawa Food Park so far is the first food park to serve fresh hand pulled noodles!

OLD BEIJING BRAISED BEEF NOODLES (P145)

I actually watched how they made the noodle and I was amazed! Everything in this noodle soup is delicious and the meat is tender too!

KUTCHAY DUMPLING (P99)

Their simple dumpling is packed with yummy ingredients!

BRAISED SLICED PORK (P149)

One of my favorites since the meat is easy to chew and the taste is delicious.


12. SAM'S
They serve ice cream, buns and shake!

CAMPFIRE SHAKE (P160) COOKIE MONSTER (P110)

The campfire shake tasted a bit burnt and bitter, tho the cookie monster I liked because it's not too sweet. I thought it was a bubble gum flavor since it's color blue.

BERRY ICED TEA (P100)

BERRY! The top layer is foamy but when you taste the next layer it has a sour taste and I like it!

13. XURRERIA
We had the classic churros with chocolate and hazelnut dip for 150 pesos.

My heart was overwhelmed and tummy full with all their delicious and affordable dishes! By the way the food park can accommodate 300 seats with 14 establishments to choose from! So better bring your family and friends because whatever you're looking for they got it for you!
