Alfarsi | A Persian Food Adventure

11.13.2015
If you are looking for food adventure and want to get out of the box of the usual fast food restaus, Maginhawa Street is the place for you. Cafes, bars and restaurants sprung everywhere giving opportunities for foodies and entrepreneurs to showcase great food. Maginahawa offers a long line of variety food from filipino, japanese, chinese, italian and a lot more, this place has everything!

This November I finally visited Maginhawa Street and was overwhelmed on how many food places there are. I was looking through signs and names of food places, dahil sa dami naka 3 balik kami sa Maginhawa haha! Finally I decided to try out Alfarsi Persian Grill. They have 2 branches in Maginhawa so if you can't find a good parking spot there is always another branch to go :)

Alfarsi Persian Grill is the new Persian Craze in Quezon City, it has been featured in Poptalk. They serve a wide variety of Persian Cuisine with Filipino twist to suite Pinoy taste buds.

You can opt to eat outside or inside, we prefer inside as it's cozier :)

Their Menu which offers appetizers, plate meals, wraps, chicken, beef, pies, best sellers and specials.

Sauces for the food, they have garlic cheese, garlic original, garlic pepper and the super hot sauce! Personally I liked the Garlic Original.

Their creative and colorful wall! It's full of photos and notes from previous customers :)

Interior of Alfarsi, it's a bit dark inside because of the lighting but the interior looks good with colorful walls. The left side has long tables with couches and the other side only has chairs.

(Chicken Tandoori Plate Meal - P135)

My plate! I ordered their Chicken Tandoori Plate meal. The meat was tender and I loved the flavors! Of course for the siding they have grilled onions and tomatoes. Although the butter already melted on top of the rice, it was still delicious. The chicken was drizzled with their sauce and I added garlic sauce and hot sauce. I love this plate meal!

(Combo Kebab Plate Meal - P160)

Kev's plate consisted of a beef and chicken kebab. Both of them are rich in flavors and the serving was right. I like the chicken kebab than the beef hehe.

(Blueberry Cheesecake)

Cheesecake for dessert as usual hehe. The cheesecake was very creamy, I think it melted a bit. The blueberry sauce tasted great and the actual blueberries.

Alfarsi brought good food, the price and serving is fair. The only cons we noticed is that it's a bit dark and the plate is a bit small, but aside from that we're fine. Will I go back? Of course YES!
