New Year In The Park | Le Village Lifestyle Park

1.06.2018
Holiday season is one of the best excuses for families can dine out and enjoy some quality time and good food. For some, tradition comes with eating out may it be Noche Buena or Media Noche and for some it can be a new experience rather than just eating at home. I, for one can vouch that every year more families enjoy eating out during Christmas time and/or New Year. Malls are fully packed with parents, kids, titos, titas, lolos and lolas looking for a restaurant that can accommodate them or somewhere where they can enjoy good food and some music.

To offer Filipinos a new way to celebrate the New Year festivities, Fruitas Holdings have arranged activities in Le Village Lifestyle Park.

Last Januray 1 2018, Le Village held an event called "New Year in the Park" where families can enjoy eating together while being entertained with human statues and a live band. If you're curious where to find this sosyal place it's along E.Rodriguez cor. Cordillera and it's not that hard to find! You'll immediately see the sakura trees and the big dome, plus I think this is the only open place in the area. So how do you get there?

DIRECTIONS
From Lawton: Ride a Proj 2 and 3 jeepney, when you reach Welcome Rotonda you're just a few meters away. It's located at the left side before the stoplight.

From Quezon Avenue: Ride a jeepney going to Quiapo or Welcome Rotonda, get off at Welcome Rotonda and cross on the overpass going to the E. Rodriguez side (if you see KFC go there) You can either ride a jeepney, proj 2 3 or Cubao, or just walk. You're just a few meters away! It's located at the left side before the stoplight.

From Cubao: Go to the side of lrt 2 and ride a jeepney going to Quiapo. You'll pass Araneta and Banawe, then the next street is where you'll get off (Cordillera) and you'll immediately see the dome and open area (right side so you won't have to cross)

Le Village is actually spacious and a relaxing place since trees are around the area. It's a European themed food park so it's clean, coordinated and relaxing to the eyes. You can see lighted sakura trees, a fountain and their famous dome where you can take selfies and ootd shots!

On that day upon entrance you can see a big 2018 decor where you can write down on post its your new year's resolution or goals. Of course I posted my own goal and shared it with everyone else. As the highlight of the celebration, diners were entertained by a live band performance from GSeven Band. Everyone were singing along with their mix of pop and jazz songs. Human statue performers around the venue also added to the entertainment.

If you're thinking "What if it rains?" well they already thought of that and placed tents that will cover every inch of this place and it won't be a hassle. They also have 15 tenants (such a wide variety!) and we got to try out one of their best sellers! However I will give my top 7 dishes that I'm sure you too will enjoy!

1. SABROSO - For 145 pesos you get to enjoy this tasty Lechon! The difference thay have with others is that they use Bacolod lechon. Their sarsa is a bit new to my taste since it's a bit tangy but it fits with the lechon's taste.

2. LE PETIT PARISIENNE - Changing it up a bit, they sell wine at Le Village so you can enjoy a wine and cheese night too. The place offers only French wines and we got to enjoy this Shanpelino Peach Sparkling wine bottle for only 390 pesos!

3. AHLEE'S - I have featured this before in my 150 Maginhawa Food Park post and I didn't enjoy it so much back then since lumamig na pagkain namin kakapicture, but here I got to enjoy it while it's still warm. Nakakaloka ang lambot ng Porterhouse Steak (large) and it's very tasty! If it's a bit salty for you, you can balance it out with their buttery mashed potato. We were thinking if they used powder for this but it's legit potato with lots of butter and I love it!

4. SHOU - I love their dishes here, especially the braised beef noodles! It's tasty, the meat is tender and it's a tad spicy! Plus here at Le Village they offer rice too! So more choices for everyone.

5. GOCHILLA - They offer japanese food and lemme say I liked their Ebi Tempura, the batter is not overpowering the shrimp. Delicious!

6. CHICKEN CARTEL - I love buffalo wings, whenever I crave for it we ALWAYS go to Buffalos Wings and Things and I always order their garlic parmesan. When I tasted Chicken Cartel's garlic parmesan I was reminded of Buffalo Wings and Things! Love it!

7. HALO HALO ISLANDS - Lastly for dessert, halo halo is the winner since they offer a lot of variety with the flavors. You can taste every province's specialty, like in Bicol you'll taste a bit of spicyness, in Cebu they have mangoes, in Davao they have Durian and in Tagaytay they have Pineapples.

Here is a video I made of our experience there, plus with all the food and live performance of the GSeven Band.

When you visit Le Village Lifestyle Park make sure to post ootd photos, lits of them because it's worth it :)

Lots of love
Alyssa ♥
